Not always. Our Luton tail-lift vans include a powered tail-lift for loading and unloading at sites without forklift or dock access. Our 7.5 ton curtain siders can be loaded by forklift from ground level or dock height. Please advise your site's loading facilities when booking and we will confirm the appropriate vehicle and loading method.
Yes. All same day freight bookings include Goods in Transit insurance up to £50,000 as standard. For high-value cargo loads requiring additional cover, this can be arranged at the time of booking — advise the declared value when booking and we will confirm cover before departure.
Yes. Our same day freight service covers the full UK with no distance restrictions. London to Birmingham is around 2.5 hours, London to Manchester around 5 hours, London to Edinburgh around 8 hours — all direct, no depot.
