Speedy Travels further west today to a lovely part of the UK, St Ives in Cornwall. The town lies north of Penzance and west of Camborne and is situated on the shore of St Ives Bay.
St Ives is home to a lovely little railway station which is linked to the Paddington to Penzance main rail route via the St Ives branch line. You can also visit via regular services by National Express Coach from London Victoria, Heathrow and other places around Britain.
If you’re looking for some culture on your visit to St Ives, you can visit the Tate gallery or many of the local art exhibitions. They even have a small cinema located 5 minutes from the coast. We also suggest you visit The Mex if you fancy a bite to eat. Speedy enjoyed the best Nacho’s he’s eaten in a long time.
St Ives hosts a Farmers market every Thursday throughout the year at The Guildhall, Street an Pol, St Ives. Opening times are 9.30am until 2.00pm.
